Coastal Concrete Wilmington is a locally owned concrete company in Wilmington NC. We focus on three things people use every day: patios, driveways and slabs. We are based at 3104 Casa Court in the 28409 area, and we serve Wilmington and the communities around it.
We built our process around how coastal ground and weather really behave. Slabs get a compacted base and steel set at the right height. Driveways get the right slope and a grip finish. Patios get joints in smart places and a surface that stays comfortable in July.
You will not get a sales pitch from us. You will get a visit, a tape measure, a written price and plain answers.
Three habits behind every pour
Plan the base first
Most concrete failures start under the slab. We spend our time on grading, compaction and drainage before any concrete arrives.
Write it down
Every job gets a written estimate that lists the work, the thickness and the price, so there are no surprises.
Tell the truth
If a repair will do, we say so. If your plan has a problem, we say that too, before the pour and not after.
Built for sand, salt and storms
Coastal sand can wash out under a slab when heavy rain runs across a lot. So we compact the base, keep water moving away from slab edges and cover the steel with enough concrete to stand up to salt air. We cut control joints so cracks follow straight lines, and we cure the surface right away.
We call you before each step and after the work is done. If something looks wrong, we tell you.
